Buffalo-Niagara was a real gem! The cozy vibes, artsy décor, and friendly staff made it feel like home. Plus, with fantastic eats nearby like Bijou Grille and Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, I indulged in some seriously delicious local bites! Also, the well-equipped kitchen and free coffee made mornings a breeze. So much love for this place!
Sadly, the city shut down the hostel unexpectedly during my stay. It felt so wrong, especially for a place that welcomed us like family. It was shocking and disrespectful to the community. Even with that, the warmth of Buffalo shone through.

I loved checking out the art exhibit on my first night and watching the solar eclipse on the rooftop with fellow travelers. The chill-out room was perfect for winding down after a day of adventures, and the TV area was a fun way to catch up on some shows. The only bummer was the lack of privacy in the showers. it would’ve been nice to have actual doors instead of curtains. 😊

We had a great time staying close to Shea's Theatre, where we caught an amazing Broadway musical. The kids loved the spacious rec room in the basement with games and a TV. The kitchen was a huge plus for family meals.
My wife says that having more bathroom amenities would make it better for families with kids.
